Details

This large (4" x 3-3/8" x 2") and enchanting Native American handmade Zuni Stone (travertine), cedar wood, and turquoise table fetish carved by Zuni artist Enrike Leekya (pronounced "N-Rick") evokes the image of a Walrus. When Leekya drew this fetish from Zuni Stone he gave it turquoise eyes and removable cedar wood tusks (making its shipment and storage easy) increasing its power. The long-lived and social walrus is a powerful swimmer, skilled hunter, and is famed for its fighting prowess. They prey on everything from bi-valve mollusks to seals. Only Killer Whales and Polar Bears are known to challenge the mighty walrus. This is the perfect fisherman's fetish. This fetish will lend you vigor and protection. Remember that each time this fetish performs its function it will grow in power. It will never fail a person with good intentions who is true of heart. Providing a comfortable home for and making small offerings of food to your new fetish will also increase their power. A certificate of authenticity is included. Enrike Leekya is the Great Grandson of famed Zuni carver Leekya Deyuse. The Leekya family has exclusive access to Zuni Stone. Its location on the Zuni reservation is a closely held family secret.
