This unusually long (31") and lovely Native American handmade turquoise, pin shell, and Sterling silver fetish necklace was created by Zuni Pueblo artist Verna Kashana. Kashana hand cut, shaped, and polished FORTY-NINE pieces of turquoise to evoke the images of bears and birds. Image the time, effort, and patience it took to form these individual fetishes on a fast spinning wheel. Phenomenal! She then hand rolled hundreds of incredibly fine pin shell beads, stringing all of them and finishing the two strands with a Sterling silver bead, cones, and hook and eye. Make this great fetish necklace a part of your fine collection of Native American jewelry.
