Details

This Native American handmade red Mediterranean coral and Sterling silver bracelet was created by famed Navajo, Dine', artist Kirk Smith. Smith decorated the face of this lovely bracelet with a matched set of nine gorgeous coral cabochons. Each is separated by silver drops. The thick (1/8") shank is decorated inside and out with deep and precise hand stamp work. This is a prime example of Smith's best work. DO NOT MISS OUT! KIRK SMITH (Navajo / Dine’; 1957 – 2012.) One of the most skilled practitioners of the Classic Navajo Revivalist style, Smith was known for his skilled stamp work and for including only the highest quality stone sets. He often collaborated with his wife, Gloria Begay Smith. He was known for creating bracelets, rings, boxes, and, most famously, concho belts. He was taught by his grandfather, Harry Morgan.
