This gorgeous Native American handmade Sterling silver bead necklace and earring set was created by Navajo Dine' artist, Virginia Tso. Tso shows her virtuoso skill with bead making through the wide variety of handmade beads she combines to make this lovely necklace. She included small pillow beads, larger globular beads, two barrel beads, and a set of graduated beads ranging in size from 1-1/4" x 1/2" to 1/2" x 1/4". The beads are strung on a Sterling silver link chain and hook and eye. A matching globular bead graces each of the dangle earrings to complete this set. Make this gorgeous earring and necklace set a great part of your collection of fine Native American jewelry. VIRGINIA TSO (Navajo Dine'; active since 1970's.) Tso is a renowned Navajo jeweler from Pinedale, AZ. Her beads are known for their subtle texture and depth. The beads are oxidized to give them an "old pawn" patina and a satin finish. Very few artists still create this style of silver bead by hand. The simple style is timeless and elegant. She was ten years old when her grandparents taught her the art of jewelry making.
