Details

This stupendous, massive (9-1/4" x 1-7/8" x 1-5/8") and highly detailed Native American handmade Elk Antler, turquoise, jet Zuni Priest table fetish was hand carved by Zuni Pueblo artist Claudia Peina. Peina is famed for her beautifully made and highly detailed Corn Maiden and bear fetishes. This is the first and, currently, only Zuni Priest fetish made by her. According to eyewitnesses, this piece of art truly evokes the image of a Zuni Priest!!! Notice the carved face hair and head band. The turquoise necklace is outstanding!!! The jet inlay is phenomenal! Each of the long and thin pieces of jet were painstakingly cut, shaped and polished before they were lovingly inlayed into the antler. The longer and thinner a stone is cut the more likely it is to break!!!! Black beads are used to make eyes. White is the healing color of the East. Remember that each time this fetish protects or heals you it grows in power. It will never fail a person with good intentions who is true of heart. Providing a comfortable home for and making small offerings of food to your new fetish will also increase its power. A certificate of authenticity is included with this piece. You may never have another chance to own a fetish of this size and quality. DO NOT MISS OUT!!!
